Flag of the West African Federation.

The Flag of the West African Federation, from the same TL as the Wiki Infobox and Coat of Arms of the same name.


The Blue (Ocean/Coast), Green (Forest/Agriculture) and Gold (Savanna/Desert) are all purely geographic in symbolism while the Red, originally standing for the Revolution in the countries previous flag, now is meant to stand for all the peoples of the country United and the White represents the Ideals the country was founded on (Freedom, Equality etc.).

The Tricolor nature was chosen due to the countries close relations with the (originally French dominated) then European Confederation, however the choice of it being horizontal rather than vertical was to also show that while they were close, they were also a separate and independent country.
