Realistic GITS: SAC World

Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex (and 2nd Gig) is one of my favorite anime shows, however the one thing that bother me was just how ridiculously unrealistic it was with both geopolitics and geography (nuclear bombs do not make country sized craters!), so I decided to try to make a more realistic version of the world.

The Siak Republic in this version is only the island of Sumatra.

As the show (and maps) are contradictory in regards to America I decided to have it split in the most realistic way possible. Their is no Russo-American Alliance, since, well their really is no reason for one, as they did after all spend most of the 20th century as foes and have no common enemy to unite them.
